As part of the Saurashtra Tamil Sangam programme, a seminar was organized today at Pathika Maidan Auditorium for people from Tamil Nadu. Union Parliamentary Affairs and Culture Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Gujarat’s Health Minister Rishikesh Patel, Forest and Environment Minister Muloobhai Bera, Home Affairs Minister  Harshbhai Sanghvi were also present in the seminar.

While interacting with the Tamilians, Union Minister Arjunram Meghwal started by wishing Vanakkam and said that every Tamil Bandhu who has arrived here is a VIP for us. Your request to build a university at Paramkudi in the Ramnathpuri district shows that you are interested in education, which is commendable. The Minister added, “I have visited the surrounding area including Sivaganga so I understand your sentiments and with the help of the central government we will make joint efforts to remove this education barrier.” During the conversation, answering the question of a Tamil Bandhu about implementing Gujarat's development model in the entire country including Tamilnadu, he said “For this, we all have to make a joint effort with the spirit of unity and brotherhood under the strong and powerful leadership of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi. Saurashtra Tamil Sangam is a very important step towards building 'Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat'.”
