Madurai Aishwaryam Trust and Gandhi Museum led by Aishwaryam Trust Chairman & Managing Trustee Dr.R.Balagurusamy and Manager G.Ramesh and Financial Trustee Dr.R.Amudanilavan held a candlelight vigil at the Gandhi Museum premises as a tribute to the victims of the Odisha train accident.
A large number of students, nurses and social activists participated in the event and paid their respects. After the tribute meeting, in a press conference Managing Director Balagurusamy said: "I pray to God that the souls of those who died in the tragic train accident in Odisha may rest in peace and that those who are injured and undergoing treatment in the hospital may recover soon and go to their homes."
