The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore in association with Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), Indonesia, International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), U.S.A and International Crop Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), India is organizing a three day International Conference on “Enhancing Global Food Security through Climate Smart Agriculture, Digital Innovations and New Institutional Governance” during 28 – 30 August 2023.
The key themes of the conference include
(i) Millets in Combating Climate Change and Achieving Food Security
(ii) Trends and Challenges in Climate Smart Agriculture
(iii) Securing Climate-Resilient and Inclusive Value Chains
(iv) Digital Innovations and Institutional Governance for Sustainable Agriculture
Around 50 senior scientists and government officials from Austria, Brazil, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Austria, Lao PDR and Vietnam will be participating in the deliberations showcasing their research findings, scientific insights and the priorities issues affecting food security and actions needed at G20 level.
