On 29.08.2023, Tuesday Madurai Kamaraj University 'B' Zone Inter-Colleges Volleyball, Table Tennis and Chess Competitions were held at Tiruvedakam, Vivekananda College. Vivekananda College Secretary Swami Vedananda, College Principal Dr. T. Venkatesan inaugurated.
Thiagaraja School of Management won the first position and Madura College second position in chess competition. Madura College won the first position and Saraswati Narayanan College second position in table tennis competition. S.Vellaisamy Nadar College won the first position and Saraswati Narayanan College second position in volleyball competition. Vivekananda College Principal Venkatesan felicitated the winning students with prizes.
Directors of physical education from Sourashtra College, Madura College, S.Vellaisamy Nadar College, Mannar Thirumalai Nayak College, Saraswati Narayanan College, Thiagaraja School of Management, Senthamarai College and Madurai Kamaraj University participated. Vivekananda College Director of Physical Education Dr. J.Nirendan coordinated the competitions.
