On behalf of the Erode District Youth Team, the Tamil Nadu Merchants Association held an awareness rally in which the name boards of all the business establishments will be displayed in Tamil led by the Raja, District Youth President. Housing Minister Su. Muthusamy delivered the keynote address.
The Mayor, Mrs. Nagarathinam opened the name board in Tamil. Tamil Development Department Director Smt. Reginal Mary and Assistant Inspector of Labour Shri. Murugesan addressed the gathering. State president A.M. Vikramaraja inaugurated the two-wheeler rally by waving the Association flag.
Coimbatore zonal president Sulur Chandrasekaran, Coimbatore district president Irudayaraja, Tirupur district secretary Lala Ganesan, Erode district president Shanmugavel, Erode district secretary Ramachandran, Erode district treasurer Udayam Selvam, district vice presidents, deputy secretary and city administrators were also present. District Youth Wing Secretary A. Lawrence Ramesh delivered the welcome address and District Information Technology Wing in-charge Balakrishnan delivered the vote of thanks.
District Youth Wing Treasurer Sekar, Members of the District Youth Wing Tamilarasan, Ziyauddin, Karthi, Saravanan, Premkumar and Aravind did a good job. Around 190 businessmen participated in the Two Wheeler rally.
