An Interaction session with French artists was organised on 08th February 2024, Thursday at The American College, Madurai. Principal Dr.M.Davamani Christober presided over the ceremony.
The president of the association Mr. Victor Packiyaraj welcomed the gathering. Ms. D. Santhana Gowri, Secretary introduced the chief guests. Mr. A. Chinnadurai Pandian, Head, Department of French honoured the chief guests.
Mr. Sylvain, Documentary Director, and Ms. Zoë from Paris, France highlighted the use of technology in cinema and art. They also spoke about the originality in the art forms of Tamil Nadu. They interacted with the students regarding documentary direction.
The documentary film “Suivre Zoë” directed by M. Sylvain was shown to the students. Mrs. A. Angel Sahaya Ajitha delivered the Vote of Thanks. More than 50 French learning students and staff of French department participated in the programme. French Professors Mr. Thangamani, Mr. Bharathidasan and Ms. Kavitha were present.
