ICM Madurai is honored by the distinguished visit of our respected Shri. Pankaj Kumar Bansal I.A.S – Additional Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, Govt. of India.
He was welcomed to the District by the District Collector of Madurai, Madurai Corporation Commissioner, South Zone IG of TN Police Dept. Regional Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies and other officials. In the Institute, he was whole heartedly welcomed by the Director Shri K Sathia Kumar Sam Michael and Faculties, Staff of ICM Madurai. Dignitaries / Officers from District Cooperative Dept. and Organisations were also present.
Additional Secretary released our Annual Calendar of Training Programmes 2024-25 and reviewed the activities, progress of ICM Madurai presented by our Director. The training accomplishments over the years have been brought to the kind consideration of our AS. Also he interacted with our HDCM participants to aware “what is all about cooperation” from their perspective, imparted them with the Importance of Cooperation in this current Economic Scenario through answering to their queries.
He also shared some insights towards their career and personality development. Finally he inspected the proposed new building site and reviewed the progress made so far in this context. Faculties Dr. V AlaguPandian and Smt. G Jeyanthi explained the proposed new building plan to the officials. Director ICM Madurai and Chief Engineer – CPWD accompanied and assured to implement the suggestions spelled out by our AS.
