Dr. G. Selvakumar, Principal of AVIT, delivered the welcome address and presented the Graduation Day report for AVIT. Prof. P. S. Balaganapathy, Deputy Director of the Department of Management, presented the departmental report. Dr. Anuradha Ganesan, Vice President of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University), presided over the event and delivered the presidential address. Shri J. Suresh Samuel, Member of the Board of Management, VMRF-DU, honored the occasion with a special address.
Dr. L. Prabhu, Vice-Principal (Admin) of AVIT, introduced the chief guest to the audience. Shri S. R. Gandhi, IRPFS, Director of the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Tamil Nadu, delivered the Graduation Day address to the graduates, emphasizing the importance of higher education and the role of young people in the upliftment of society and the nation.
Dr. S. P. Sangeetha, Vice-Principal (Academics) of AVIT, presented the special and proficiency awards. The Institution’s academic topper, Ms. R. Meena Jayasri, B.E. Biomedical Engineering, was awarded the “Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram Gold Medal,” and 30 proficiency awards were given to University rank holders and other academic achievers.
After receiving their degrees, the graduates took a pledge to perform their duties with utmost sincerity and to contribute to the nation’s progress. Approximately 500 students received their degrees in the presence of their parents, who expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the management and faculty for shaping their children into professionals.
The event was well-coordinated by Dr. R. Mohanapriya, Head of Exemcell, and a team of faculty members.
