Central Bureau of Communication under Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is organizing Integrated Communication Outreach Programme ICOP at Coimbatore Police Community Hall from August 27 to 31. Publicity van on the ICOP was flagged off by Coimbatore Railway Junction Station Manager Shri K Sridharan on Sunday.
FPO Tiruchirappalli Shri K Devi Padmanabhan gave away notices on ICOP to public. The ICOP will stress on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, National Space Day, Digital India, Skill India and other government welfare schemes. There will also be stalls by ICDS, Social welfare department, India Post Aadhar updation correction, RSETI Canara Bank, PM Jan Aushadhi, TB department, Bureau of Indian Standards and Sankara Eye Hospital. The vehicle will create publicity on integrated communication outreach programme in all parts of Coimbatore city and suburbs.
