Qube Cinema and Radiance Cinema are pleased to announce the launch of Qube EPIQ – Premium Large Format Cinema in Madurai. The eagerly anticipated cinematic experience launches just in time for major title releases across languages. The launch of this screen brings the total count of EPIQ screens to four, after the ones in V-EPIQ, Andhra Pradesh, Broadway Cinemas, Tamil Nadu, and Palaxi Cinemas, Kerala.
In Madurai, Radiance Cinema welcomes movie connoisseurs to experience R-EPIQ, the 242-seater auditorium with a wall-to-wall 50-foot wide, 27-foot high screen, plush ambiance and stadium seating, with every seat optimized for the best viewing experience. The state-of-the-art technologies that make R-EPIQ the best PLF experience include Barco 4K RGB laser projection, Dolby Atmos Immersive Audio, a 1.9 screen aspect ratio that is optimized for both scope and flat movies with razor sharp images, higher brightness, increased contrast, and a wider colour gamut. Qube Cinema creates specially mastered EPIQ DCPs for select blockbuster movies. Additionally, all standard DCI DCPs can be played on an EPIQ screen.
